The extension covers you for things such as cancellation of your trip, trip delay, missed departure, cutting short your trip, missed connection and offers accommodation in relation to a ‘large-scale event’ happening:
- A terrorism event (excluding Cyber & attacks which involve chemical, nuclear or biological devices)
- The presence of unauthorised, unmanned aircraft
- Air traffic control restrictions including airspace closure
- Failure of air traffic control or airport computer systems
- An event occurring at your departure point that causes its closure or evacuation
- A natural catastrophe
